Clare & Michael’s Woodland Wedding on Hayling Island

This was my second time photographing a Tournerbury Woods Wedding, and I’m still amazed at what a hidden gem it is. Nestled on Hayling Island, on the Hampshire and West Sussex border, it’s a wedding venue like no other. Private woodland, coastal views, and a tree-lined paths that feel like something out of a storybook.

You’d never guess a venue like this exists on Hayling Island, it’s so well tucked away that I struggled to find it on my first visit!

Wedding Day at Tournerbury Woods Estate

Clare got ready in the on-site cottage with her bridesmaids, just a short walk from the outdoor woodland ceremony. Michael and his groomsmen had camped overnight at the estate, and he started the day with a morning run.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather for the outdoor ceremony, as the sunshine filtered through the trees. After the heartfelt vows, Clare and Michael led the way through the woods to their drinks reception. Set in the perfect spot, overlooking the coastline. A stunning setting for guests to relax and take in the views.

Hayling Island Wedding Photography

Being Clare and Michael’s Tournerbury Woods wedding photographer was an absolute joy. The natural setting and the genuine connection between the couple made for a truly memorable day. A big thank you to them for trusting me to document it all.

I’m excited to be heading back to the Tournerbury Woods Estate for another wedding very soon. It’s becoming one of my favourite wedding venues in Hampshire.
