I’m a Hampshire wedding photographer, and I’ve been photographing weddings across the South of England for over 20 years.
My work has taken me to some of the most beautiful corners of Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset, and the Isle of Wight, and I still feel incredibly lucky to do what I love — capturing real moments, genuine emotion, and all the joy that a wedding day brings.
I grew up in Hampshire and studied photography in Bournemouth before moving to London to assist advertising photographers. I learned a huge amount in the commercial world, but it didn’t take long for me to realise that I was far more inspired by people than products.
Photographing weddings — whether I’m working as a Hampshire wedding photographer, a New Forest wedding photographer, or further afield — felt instantly natural. Telling stories through images, especially ones as meaningful as a wedding day, simply felt right.
Outside of weddings, I love cooking (mainly Indian and Thai — I’m convinced I must have been a chef or worked in a greasy spoon at some point in a past life!). I practise yoga, play badminton every week, and I’m often out on my motorbike exploring the South Downs or winding through the New Forest — a place that’s as inspiring for wedding photographers in the New Forest as it is relaxing to ride through.
As an experienced Hampshire wedding photographer, I truly believe that weddings are a special thing to be part of. I get a front-row seat to some of life’s most meaningful moments, and it’s a privilege I never take for granted.
Whether I’m photographing in Winchester, Portsmouth, or alongside Rhinefield House wedding photographers at one of Hampshire’s many beautiful venues, I’d happily photograph a wedding every single day if I could. It’s an honour to be considered among the best Hampshire wedding photographers, and I pour that love for the craft into every celebration I capture.

How long have you been a wedding photographer?
I have been photographing weddings across the South of England for over 20 years. During that time, I have worked at venues throughout Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, Dorset and the Isle of Wight.
How did you get into wedding photography?
I grew up in Hampshire and studied photography in Bournemouth before moving to London to assist advertising photographers. Although commercial photography gave me valuable experience, I quickly realised that photographing people and telling their stories was what inspired me most.
What do you enjoy most about photographing weddings?
For me, it is the opportunity to capture real moments, genuine emotion and all the little interactions that make each wedding unique. Being trusted to document such an important day is something I never take for granted.
What is your approach on the wedding day?
My approach is relaxed, discreet and focused on allowing the day to unfold naturally. Couples regularly tell me that I put them at ease, while guests often comment on how unobtrusive I am while photographing the celebrations.
What if we are nervous about having our photograph taken?
You certainly would not be alone. Many couples feel uncomfortable in front of a camera at first, so I take time to get to know you and help you feel relaxed. The aim is to create photographs that feel natural rather than making you spend the day posing.
Where are you based?
I grew up in Hampshire and regularly work across Hampshire and the wider South of England, including Sussex, Surrey, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. I also spend plenty of time exploring the South Downs and the New Forest.
Do you help with group and family photographs?
Yes. Although much of my photography focuses on natural moments, I am also happy to organise the important group photographs you would like. Previous couples have particularly highlighted my patience and ability to manage larger groups while keeping everyone comfortable.
Will you take time to get to know us before the wedding?
Yes. Getting to know you helps me understand what matters most to you and makes the photography feel more relaxed on the day. Couples have commented that they felt I was genuinely invested in their wedding and in creating the best possible photographs for them.
What do you do when you are not photographing weddings?
Outside photography, I enjoy cooking, particularly Indian and Thai food, practising yoga and playing badminton. You will also often find me out on my motorbike exploring the South Downs or travelling through the New Forest.
