Kerry & Monty’s Beautiful Southend Barns Wedding in Chichester, West Sussex

I first met Kerry and Monty at a friend’s wedding I photographed in the New Forest. So when they got in touch to ask me to photograph their wedding, I was genuinely delighted. Even better—their venue, the stunning Southend Barns, is now just a stone’s throw from my home in Chichester, West Sussex. It’s one of my favourite local venues and a real gem for any couple dreaming of a relaxed yet stylish barn wedding.
As a regular Southend Barns wedding photographer, I’ve seen this venue in all seasons, and it never disappoints. Kerry and Monty’s day was full of personality and thoughtful touches. The barns were beautifully styled by The Floral Artisan, and Kerry added her own creative flair with handmade macramé details that brought a lovely boho feel to the space.
Southend Barns offers couples the choice of an outdoor ceremony in the Secret Garden or an indoor option in the Dairy Barn. On the morning of the wedding, it looked like rain might force a change of plan—but thankfully, the weather turned, the clouds parted, and the couple were able to say their vows outdoors under blue skies.

The rest of the day was full of laughter, heartfelt moments, and a seriously good dessert table (honestly, I’m still thinking about it). The atmosphere was so warm and joyful—a perfect reflection of Kerry and Monty themselves.
