Lulworth Castle Wedding Photographer

It was my second time photographing a wedding at the magnificent Lulworth Castle, and thankfully, the weather was far kinder than my last visit to the Lulworth Estate!

I first met Ariana and Perran for a relaxed pre-wedding shoot at Hengistbury Head. They’d made the trip down from London one evening, and we wandered up towards the beach huts just as the light began to fade, capturing some lovely portraits ahead of their big day.

Fast forward a few months, and their Lulworth Castle wedding had finally arrived. The day began at the Lulworth cottages, where I joined Ariana and her lively bridal party. It was joyful mayhem—full of laughter, movement, and anticipation.

While I was with Ariana, my second photographer stayed with Perran, capturing the groom’s morning and the arrival of guests at Lulworth Courtyard for their outdoor ceremony. The ceremony itself was beautiful—sunshine, smiles, and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.

After the ceremony, we all strolled up to the castle for the rest of the celebrations. Ariana and Perran put so much thought into making the day special for their guests, with entertainment and treats throughout the evening. One brilliant personal touch? Their Mongol Rally car—yes, they were honeymooning via a drive to Mongolia! Guests were invited to sign the car on the day—an unforgettable send-off.
