Ayesha & Charlie’s Chidham Barn wedding was a joyful, sun-filled celebration that blended personal history, tradition, and rustic countryside charm. Set in the heart of West Sussex, their day started with a meaningful ceremony at St Nicolas Church in Itchenor—just a stone’s throw from Ayesha’s grandmother’s home and the same church where her parents were married.
On this glorious May Saturday, the couple exchanged vows surrounded by loved ones in a setting that meant the world to them.

After the ceremony, we made our way through the Sussex lanes to Chidham Barn, a beautifully converted venue just outside Bosham. With its open views of the countryside, exposed beams, and relaxed atmosphere, it was the perfect setting for the afternoon and evening celebrations. Many of the couple’s friends and family had travelled from London and even the USA to be there, which made the occasion feel all the more special.
The speeches were heartfelt and often hilarious, filled with personal stories and moments that had everyone laughing and wiping away the odd tear. The rustic barn’s spacious layout gave guests room to relax, enjoy drinks in the sunshine, and later head inside for dinner, dancing, and one incredible party.
