Southend Barns Wedding – Becky & Tom

Becky & Tom’s wedding at the beautiful Southend Barns was such a special day to be part of. I first met them a few years ago when they were guests at a wedding I photographed in Dorset. I was genuinely delighted when they got in touch to ask if I’d photograph their big day in West Sussex.

From the moment I arrived, I knew this wedding would be packed with joy and laughter. Becky and Tom are one of those couples who radiate positivity—they didn’t stop smiling the entire day, and their energy was completely infectious.

Outdoor Ceremony at Southend Barns

As a Southend Barns wedding photographer, I was especially impressed by the outdoor ceremony space. Set within a peaceful garden, it’s both simple and elegant, offering couples a blank canvas to style however they wish. The natural setting worked beautifully for Becky and Tom’s relaxed, rustic celebration.

At the time of their wedding, I was still living in the New Forest, travelling across the South of England for weddings. I had no idea I’d be relocating to Chichester during the 2020 pandemic—and now, Southend Barns is just a 5-minute drive from my doorstep! It’s quickly become one of my favourite wedding venues in West Sussex.
