A Beautiful SPREAD EAGLE Wedding Day in the Heart of West Sussex
The day began with soft sunshine and blue skies—a dream for any spring wedding in Sussex. Ceara got ready in one of the hotel’s period rooms, surrounded by her closest friends and family. The atmosphere was joyful and calm, filled with quiet excitement.
Rowan was just a few doors away, also getting ready at the hotel, which made everything feel wonderfully relaxed and connected. It’s one of the things I love most about The Spread Eagle weddings—everything happens under one roof, without stress or travel, and I’m very happy to be a recommended supplier for this West Sussex wedding venue.
Portraits in Midhurst’s Historic Streets
After the ceremony, we took a short walk through the historic streets of Midhurst for a relaxed portrait session. The combination of mellow stone walls, blooming spring flowers, and quiet alleyways gave us a beautiful variety of natural backdrops—all within steps of the venue.
Ceara & Rowan were wonderful to photograph—completely at ease with one another and full of warmth. It was lovely to give them a few quiet moments to themselves before heading back to join their guests.

The reception was filled with heartfelt speeches, delicious food, and a relaxed, joyful energy that carried into the evening. It was such a pleasure to photograph Ceara & Rowan’s day.
