I’ll never forget this amazing wedding day—it was my first time as a Farnham Castle wedding photographer, and what a stunning introduction it was to this historic venue. Set high above the charming town of Farnham, the castle dates back to 1138 and offers an unforgettable backdrop for any wedding. This celebration was the second of two weddings for Guy & Shu Fei, the first having taken place between the two lockdowns during the pandemic. That first wedding was unforgettable in its own right—a time when everyone was beginning to reconnect and enjoy social interaction again. This second celebration was the big one, with their wider family and friends finally able to come together without restrictions.

The day began with bridal preparations in the cosy cottage at Farnham Castle, followed by a romantic ‘first look’ between Guy and Shu Fei in the castle’s chapel—a beautiful and intimate moment. Their ceremony was held at St Andrew’s Church in Farnham town centre, just a short walk away, before guests made their way back to the castle grounds for a relaxed and stylish drinks reception.

From start to finish, the day was full of unforgettable moments. The couple pulled out all the stops, treating their guests to a surprise Chinese Dragon Show. If that wasn’t enough entertainment, there was a spectacular fireworks display to close the evening. It was a true celebration of love, family, and togetherness.
