AZ REHMAN
I’m a Hampshire wedding photographer, and I’ve been photographing weddings across the South of England for over 20 years. My work has taken me to some of the most beautiful corners of Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset, and the Isle of Wight, and I still feel incredibly lucky to do what I love — capturing real moments, genuine emotion, and all the joy that a wedding day brings.
I grew up in Hampshire and studied photography in Bournemouth before moving to London to assist advertising photographers. I learned a huge amount in the commercial world, but it didn’t take long for me to realise that I was far more inspired by people than products. Photographing weddings — whether I’m working as a wedding photographer in Hampshire, a new forest wedding photographer, or further afield — felt instantly natural. Telling stories through images, especially ones as meaningful as a wedding day, simply felt right.
Outside of weddings, I love cooking (mainly Indian and Thai — I’m convinced I must have been a chef or worked in a greasy spoon at some point in a past life!). I practise yoga, play badminton every week, and I’m often out on my motorbike exploring the South Downs or winding through the New Forest — a place that’s as inspiring for wedding photographers in the New Forest as it is relaxing to ride through.
I truly believe that weddings are a special thing to be part of. I get a front-row seat to some of life’s most meaningful moments, and it’s a privilege I never take for granted. Whether I’m photographing in Winchester, Portsmouth, or alongside Rhinefield House wedding photographers at one of Hampshire’s many beautiful venues, I’d happily photograph a wedding every single day if I could. It’s an honour to be considered among the best Hampshire wedding photographers, and I pour that love for the craft into every celebration I capture.

Az took time to get to know us and make sure we were comfortable being photographed, and he treated every guest with courtesy and respect. He was patient getting all of our requested shots, and had no problem handling large groups of people for the photos. He worked tirelessly all day, came up with creative photo ideas, was very patient with everyone and captured so many incredible moments. We also valued how kind he was to the children at the wedding, and handled every interaction with professionalism and care.
