Poli and Jon’s wedding day for the girls started at The White Star in Southampton’s Oxford Street. It was the perfect place for the bridal preparations as it was close to the ceremony venue at Westgate Hall (built 1338), one of the towns many historical buildings still standing next to the medieval town walls. After the lovely ceremony we all jumped onto one of Southampton’s classic double decker buses and headed out of Southampton to the village of Eling in the New Forest which also just happened to be within walking distance from my home.
The Tipi wedding reception was set in the garden of a beautiful cottage which belonged to some very close friends of Poli & Jon. Lots of hard work had been put into this wedding and it was great to see the look on everyone’s faces as they walked into the garden to find the Tipi standing in front of them.
I loved being part of this wedding day and would like to thank Poli and Jon for having faith in me. I like the wedding guests enjoyed every moment of this glorious summer wedding and didn’t want the day to end.
